Located on the southern coast of the country alongside a lengthy estuary, this historic town is definitely
worth a visit. Inhambane is a wonderful town to explore; you can wander the streets and appreciate the
architecture or soak up the culture of this beautiful Mozambican town. Visiting the Inhambane Town Market
is a must; you can find anything from fresh fruits and vegetables to curios, lovely grass baskets and fish
at this local shopping spot (best to visit this
part in the morning, before the heat sets in). For a true Mozambican
experience, rent a dhow from Maxixe to Inhambane to take you across the bay. Once on the other bank you
can get a Tuk-tuk to take you around if wandering on foot is not your cup of tea. Summer heat is scorching
so remember to take an umbrella or hat.
Bistro Pescador
This culinary gem is located on the Inhambane waterfront right next to the pier. It boasts the most spectacular
views of the bay and a true Mozambican holiday atmosphere. The cuisine is Mozambican flavours that promise a
delicious addition any time of the day.

Tofo and Tofinho Beaches
Tofo is a small coastal town with a beautiful beach with a local market, good snorkelling reefs,
fishing spots, beach bars and dive schools. The scuba diving sites are really something to experience.
Tofinho is situated less than 1km south of Tofo and is located on a more exposed and rocky headland
which makes it the ideal spot for surfers. This is an amazing area to explore and perfect for a day trip.
